Summary

On March 21, 2003, around 8:15 PM, several people in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France observed a green ball falling rapidly and silently. This phenomenon was seen both in the Aude and the Landes, areas quite distant from each other. Due to its nature, it was classified as an atmospheric event, suggesting it might have been a meteorite or an object entering Earth's atmosphere. Although no sounds or impacts were reported, the visual description and speed of the object generated curiosity.

The GEIPAN classification B indicates that the case is not considered unexplained or related to conventional UFO phenomena. However, the description of a luminous ball and its silent fall may resemble observations that have been hard to explain with known natural phenomena. Despite the classification, this kind of record is useful for better understanding unusual aerial events and ruling out conventional explanations.
