🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On January 4, 2004, around 5:45 PM, several witnesses in Bordeaux saw a large fireball falling at an impressive speed. The phenomenon was classified as B by the GEIPAN, indicating a plausible explanation. Although it might initially seem like an unidentified object, investigators concluded it was likely a meteor entering the atmosphere. This type of event, while unusual, is more common than one might think and often goes unnoticed by most people.
