🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On May 10, 2004, around 9:20 PM, two independent witnesses in Bonneville and Annemasse observed a fast-moving orange-yellow luminous ball crossing the sky. One described its movement as horizontal, the other as vertical, but both agreed on the speed and general trajectory. The GEIPAN classified the case as "B", indicating a likely natural explanation such as atmospheric entry of a meteor. Despite minor discrepancies in the accounts, there is little doubt that both witnesses saw the same object.
