During the night of August 15 to 16, 2004, a man in Tourcoing observed two separate instances of golden, sparkling lights moving at high speed. The first sighting occurred around 3:50 AM, with the lights forming a triangle. About an hour later, at approximately 4:20 AM, the same phenomenon appeared again, this time in a straight line, following the same trajectory. The witness, from his balcony, noted that the sky was clear and no conventional explanation was identified. The proximity to Lille-Lesquin Airport adds interest to the case, although no further details were recorded.
