On June 13, 2005, a teacher and his students in Yvelines observed a bright point in the sky, the size of a star. After a few minutes, the point seemed to split into two, and shortly after, the witness noticed several points slowly moving relative to each other, like airplanes at very high altitudes. Although he took photos with his phone, he did not provide them to the gendarmerie. The most plausible explanation points to sunlight reflections on commercial airplanes at high altitude.
