In June 2006, a witness in the Fontainebleau forest observed a luminous object crossing the sky from west to east. The object, described as a bright white-cream disk, moved in a straight line at a constant speed and made no noise. The observation lasted two to three minutes. Although initially intriguing, investigators concluded it was likely a Thai lantern released during a solstice celebration. The oval shape, color, and wind direction support this explanation. The case was classified as "B," indicating a likely explained observation.
