UFO sighted in Nyons in 2007

Summary

A witness in Nyons, France, reported an unusual aerial phenomenon on June 19, 2007. From his balcony, he observed two very bright objects moving silently in a north-south direction. The first was fast and luminous, closely followed by a much larger object. Both moved at a constant speed and disappeared behind a hill in a descending trajectory. There were no other witnesses for this event. The GEIPAN (French UFO study organization) classified the case as "A", indicating it could be explained by a known phenomenon. That day, the International Space Station (ISS) passed over the area along with a spacecraft that had just separated from it, which could explain the sighting.
