🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On July 18, 2007, a witness in Corsica observed a light approaching and then changing direction without making any noise. The light appeared around 4:45 in the morning from his terrace. Although the witness could not precisely locate the phenomenon, the description matched an aircraft landing light approaching the Figari airport. The lack of sound was explained by the wind direction, coming from the northeast, which masked the noise. This observation was classified by the GEIPAN as case B, indicating a plausible explanation but not entirely ruling out an unusual phenomenon.
