On November 26, 2007, a woman and her son were driving when they observed three bright points arranged in a triangle with a red light at the center. The phenomenon appeared stationary and low in the sky, and the witnesses heard a deep rumbling. The son leaned his head out of the car window to get a better look, but soon experienced a severe headache and a nervous breakdown, which frightened his mother. With the help of the DGAC, all aircraft movements in the area were reconstructed, identifying a plane approaching La Roche-sur-Yon airport. The GEIPAN concluded that the object observed was indeed this aircraft. No medical cause was found for the child's crisis, suggesting it may have been triggered by stress and confusion due to the unexplained phenomenon.
