🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On January 1, 2008, a driver took photos of the Puy de Dôme from inside his car using his mobile phone. A month later, while reviewing the images, he noticed a luminous phenomenon he couldn't explain and sent the photos to the GEIPAN for analysis. After investigation, experts concluded that the phenomenon was not paranormal, but a reflection from an interior vehicle light, such as the dome light. This case is a classic example of how nearby objects can create reflections that are misinterpreted as unexplained phenomena.
