On April 19, 2008, three people in Nancy (France) observed three yellow-orange glowing points moving slowly across the sky. No unusual noise was heard during the observation, and the objects suddenly disappeared. One witness attempted to take a photo, but the resulting image was of poor quality and lacked clear references. Despite this, the testimony matches the typical characteristics of so-called "flying lanterns." However, the witness did not provide precise directional data, making it difficult to confirm whether the object moved in the direction of the recorded wind. For this reason, the case was classified as "B," meaning a probable observation of flying lanterns.
