On April 4, 2008, a driver at the Mas d'Agenais rest area noticed an unusual white object moving irregularly across the starry sky. The object was observed for about 50 seconds before gradually disappearing. Based on objective data, including the exact position of the International Space Station at the time of the observation, the witness's location, and the strong resemblance of the object to a satellite, investigators concluded that the object was almost certainly the ISS. The sensation of "stopping" near commercial aircraft, mentioned by the witness, was explained as a natural physiological eye phenomenon (autostasis/micro-nystagmus). The case was classified as "A," indicating a clear and verifiable explanation.
