In May 2008, two people in Calvados observed three points of yellow light moving slowly from west to north for fifteen seconds. The phenomenon occurred silently and disappeared suddenly. Although it might initially seem unusual, the temporal context and description align with other sightings in the same region and period. Many of these were attributed to typical Thai lanterns released during family celebrations. In this case, the witnesses reported nothing out of the ordinary, and the most plausible explanation points to a group of three of these same lights.
