🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On May 7, 2008, two witnesses observed a white, round object moving rapidly from east to west in the sky. The object was silent and followed a slightly descending trajectory. Although both saw the phenomenon, only one filed a report with the GEIPAN. Investigators suggest it might have been a meteorite entering the atmosphere, explaining its shape, motion, and lack of noise. The case was classified as "B," indicating a possible natural explanation, but not ruling out an unidentified aerial phenomenon.
