Summary

On May 14, 2008, three people in Avignon observed three yellow and orange glowing balls slowly moving from east to west. No sound was heard, and the event lasted less than a minute. Only one testimony was collected. The GEIPAN concluded it was likely a sighting of Thai lanterns, as the colors, shapes, and trajectory matched. Additionally, the east wind recorded at the time supported this explanation. The case was classified as B by the GEIPAN.
