On the night of July 20, 2008, a driver and his passenger observed an unusual object for about a minute. The object, described as elongated, matte gray, and with two large tail fins, performed a loop before disappearing toward the west. The witnesses took two photos with their phone, but no other testimonies or aerial phenomena were reported in the area. The gendarmerie investigation concluded it was a commercial aircraft making a sharp turn to align with the runways of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle International Airport.
Although the official report deemed the event credible, the object's unusual description and movement raised some curiosity. The lack of additional witnesses or aerial records in the area left the identity of the object uncertain, leaving open the possibility of an unusual observation.
