In November 2008, a driver in the Yonne region observed a black triangular object with two white lights at two of its vertices. The object passed slowly for between 5 and 10 seconds, raising some confusion as it could have been a low-flying aircraft. However, the location and description did not fit that common explanation. Despite the unusual appearance, the observation was considered low in strangeness due to the slow movement and white lights. Additionally, the consistency of the case was deemed weak, as the observation was very brief and the witness was moving inside their vehicle.
