Summary

A driver and his passenger on the A6 motorway observed twice a stationary luminous phenomenon about 30 degrees above the horizon. The object suddenly disappeared without a trace. Although the case showed little strangeness, the description was quite precise. Researchers classified it as a probable reflection of sunlight on high-altitude aircraft. It was categorized as case B by the GEIPAN.
