🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
A witness in Saint-Félix, in the French region of Haute-Savoie, reported a luminous phenomenon in the sky on January 25, 2009 at 6:30 PM. The light was very bright and moved rapidly along an irregular trajectory. Although the case was classified as interesting by the GEIPAN, researchers concluded it was likely an atmospheric entry, such as a meteor. While unusual, such events are not uncommon and can explain the observation without resorting to more exotic hypotheses. Nevertheless, the testimony contributes to the database of unexplained aerial phenomena analyzed with scientific rigor.
