🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On February 15, 2009, two people in Rennes observed a bright orange ball moving quickly across the sky. The phenomenon lasted only a few seconds before disappearing. Although it was considered a possible meteorite entering the atmosphere, it could not be confirmed due to the lack of details such as the trajectory direction. The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN due to insufficient information. There were no other detailed testimonies in the area or in a similar case that occurred 30 minutes earlier in Hautefort.
