Aouste-sur-Sye 2009, A mysterious V-shaped object

Summary

On March 14, 2009, a witness in Aouste-sur-Sye observed an unusual aerial phenomenon from their terrace. Between 10:00 and 10:05 PM, they saw a group of lights forming a "V" shape moving regularly from south to north. The sighting was brief and completely silent, which raised doubts about whether it was a low-flying aircraft or a military formation. However, these explanations did not match the object's appearance or behavior. Although the GEIPAN tried to investigate, they failed to contact air traffic control in time, and a later field investigation yielded very little reliable information.
