UFO sighted near Paris in 2009

Summary

In April 2009, two witnesses in Saint-Denis observed a gray oval-shaped object oscillating in a cloudy sky. The object remained visible for five minutes without making any noise or leaving a trail, gradually disappearing to the east. A few days later, the GEIPAN received an anonymous photo allegedly showing the same event. After a detailed analysis, it was confirmed that the image corresponded to the day of the sighting, though taken at a different time and location than initially thought. Finally, the gendarmerie identified the cause: a 20-meter diameter inflatable balloon used for an event at the Stade de France, which was neutralized by the police.
