On May 10, 2009, two people in a vehicle in Magny-en-Vexin observed a white sphere with a faint halo passing quickly through the sky. The object followed a straight trajectory from southwest to northeast before disappearing. The observation lasted only a few seconds but was clear and consistent. Although researchers noted that the phenomenon had characteristics similar to a meteorite entering the atmosphere, there were no other witnesses to confirm this definitively. The case was classified as B, indicating a high probability of being a fireball, but leaving room for other explanations.
