🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
During the night of June 28, 2009, several witnesses in Elancourt (Yvelines) reported between 7 and 8 lights visible at 1:15 AM, between Saturday and Sunday. The testimony was submitted by email, but the main witness refused to fill out the GEIPAN questionnaire and even declined to make a report at the gendarmerie. Due to the lack of detailed information, no further investigation was possible. The case was classified as C, indicating an observation with insufficient data for serious analysis.
Although multiple witnesses were involved, the lack of cooperation and precise details limited any possibility of deeper study. Cases like this, while intriguing, do not provide enough information to be considered relevant for scientific research. The GEIPAN relies on complete and voluntary testimonies to advance its investigations, and in this case, it was not possible.
