UFO identified as the International Space Station

Summary

In July 2009, two people in DAREIZE (69) observed a bright white point moving silently from west to east across the sky. The object disappeared over the horizon, prompting the witnesses to take notice. One of them took photographs and contacted the GEIPAN to report the sighting by phone. The testimony, along with the photos, was then sent directly to the French organization responsible for studying unidentified aerial phenomena. After analysis, it was determined that the object observed was the International Space Station (ISS), which regularly passes over Earth and can be visible to the naked eye under certain conditions. Although it might initially seem unusual, this type of observation is common and can be explained with basic astronomical knowledge.
