On July 15, 2009, between 0:26 and 0:28, a witness observed and photographed a very bright luminous phenomenon in a cloudy sky from a fourth-floor balcony. No other testimonies were received about this event. The investigator noted a discrepancy in the account: the witness stated the observation occurred between those hours, but the photos show the time as 23:28, placing the event on July 14. At that exact time, a grand fireworks display was held from the Eiffel Tower to celebrate its 120th anniversary. The two-minute duration of the observation could correspond to the final burst of the show. If the actual time was 0:26, it might have been another unidentified light display. The case was classified as B: likely observation of the reflection in clouds of the July 14 light displays. The uncertainty about the exact time prevents confirming whether it was the fireworks or another event.
