On August 18, 2009, a witness in Castanet-Tolosan observed a luminous phenomenon from their terrace. For about seven seconds, they saw an orange-yellow ball with a trail moving from northwest to south. The object gradually disappeared along a descending trajectory. Although the brief description suggests a possible atmospheric entry, such as a meteor, the lack of precise details and the inability to contact the witness prevented further investigation. This case, classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, remains an unresolved mystery.
