🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On October 18, 2009, in the late afternoon, a witness observed several dozen bright white points high in the Paris sky moving very slowly from east to west. Despite the unusual nature of the phenomenon, no other testimonies or additional data were collected. Researchers from the GEIPAN considered it could be a typical observation of "Thai lanterns," although this was never confirmed. The case remains classified as "C," meaning no clear explanation, due to the lack of supporting information.
