On November 19, 2009, around 5:35 PM, several people in Dórmans, in the Marne region, observed a mysterious object crossing the sky from west to east. The object emitted a bright white light and moved slowly along a straight trajectory. Witnesses estimated the observation lasted between 4 and 10 minutes. Some of them also saw the International Space Station (ISS) passing by, which initially caused confusion. A witness recorded a video of the event, titled "Geipan.mp4," which would serve as evidence for further analysis.
The case was classified as "A" by the GEIPAN (Group for the Study of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), indicating that the report is considered serious and worthy of study. Despite the recording and detailed descriptions, the object could not be identified with certainty. Cases like the one in Dórmans in 2009, where multiple witnesses agree on their observations, are particularly valuable to researchers. This case remains an unsolved mystery in the file of unexplained aerial phenomena.
