Red and luminous object over New Caledonia

Summary

On November 2009, a witness observed a red, round luminous phenomenon appearing between two mountains at a distance of about 800 meters. The object, trailing flames, moved northward toward Tontouta for less than a minute. Although it resembled an atmospheric entry, no further information or additional testimonies were collected.
