🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On February 22, 2010, a witness in southern France observed a stationary bright point from their garden. The light emitted by this object changed colors continuously, which impressed the witness enough to call their brother to confirm the sighting. Both observed the phenomenon for more than 20 minutes, suggesting a celestial event. The GEIPAN report concluded that the light could have been from the star Sirius, the brightest in the night sky. This star is known for its variable reflections, as described by the witnesses.
