UFO observed in ELNE in February 2010

In February 2010, two people in a kitchen in ELNE observed for two minutes a bright orange glowing object moving silently at low altitude. The object followed a straight trajectory and disappeared vertically. Although initial testimonies seemed contradictory, the description matched that of a Thai lantern. The sensation of upward disappearance is common when a lantern's flame goes out. Although the estimated direction did not exactly match the wind direction, investigators considered this due to altitude differences and witness imprecision.
