🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
In March 2010, a driver in Rosheim (France) noticed "suspicious" lights in the sky that she could not explain. She saw them several times in the same location, which prompted her to report the incident. The GEIPAN, a French organization dedicated to investigating unidentified aerial phenomena, classified the event as "B," indicating an observation without a clear explanation but with possible conventional causes. In this case, investigators suggested the lights could be from spotlights illuminating castles located in the highlands east of the Franco-German border. Additionally, the observation date coincided with a festive season in the region, where colorful events like the German carnival are celebrated, which could also explain the presence of artificial lights.
