In March 2010, a witness in the Loiret department observed a formation of luminous spheres in the sky. These appeared between 9:30 PM and 9:45 PM, showing a uniform wave-like movement for several minutes. The spheres were orange in color and moved coherently before disappearing. Although the phenomenon seemed unusual, investigators concluded it had no level of mystery. The case was classified as PAN B, attributed to the observation of possible flying lanterns.
The witness's description matched known phenomena, with no inexplicable elements. The classification of the case in category B by the GEIPAN indicates it was not considered an unexplained phenomenon. Despite the mysterious appearance, there were no elements suggesting a supernatural or extraterrestrial nature. The report concludes that the testimony fits conventional aerial objects, such as artificial lights or flying devices.
