🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On March 27, 2010, at 10:30 PM, two people in Forges (Vosges, France) observed from their home a group of about twenty glowing balls that gathered and followed a west-east trajectory. The witnesses heard no noise during the event, adding to the mystery. The lights were yellow-orange in color and moved cohesively for several minutes. A witness took photographs supporting the description. The GEIPAN, the French organization responsible for investigating unidentified aerial phenomena, classified the case as "B," indicating a likely explanation. After analyzing the characteristics and date, investigators concluded it was a flight of Thai-style lanterns, commonly used in local celebrations such as weddings or festivals, especially on Saturday nights.
