On April 24, 2010, around 11:30 PM, two people in Saint-Alban-Leyssé (Savoie) observed about thirty lights moving silently in the same direction across the sky. Over time, the number of lights decreased until they all disappeared. One of the witnesses recorded the event and, after some research, concluded they were likely Thai lanterns. However, no other testimonies or confirmations about their origin were collected. Although the official report suggests they were lanterns, the lack of additional records or conventional explanations leaves room for alternative interpretations.
