A witness in Landes, France, observed a luminous point in the sky on April 7 and 9, 2010, between 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM. The object displayed color changes and was filmed by the witness. Astronomical analysis shows that Venus, easily visible to the naked eye, was in the same area of the sky observed. However, the witness noted that the phenomenon occurred over several days and that it had been seen the previous year at the same time. The color changes described are attributed to optical effects caused by variations in brightness during the recording with the witness's camera.
