On June 5, 2010, a witness in Paris observed for a few seconds a silent, straight-line movement of a luminous phenomenon heading northwest. This object consisted of five bright halos in white and yellow colors. After the publication of a similar case in Tournan-en-Brie on the same day, the witness contacted the GEIPAN, believing it could be the same phenomenon. Another testimony was collected from the Île Saint-Louis, where a similar observation was made between 22:50 and 23:13 on the same day. Due to the coherence and timing, the case was classified as Category A, indicating particular interest.
The GEIPAN, the French organization responsible for investigating unidentified aerial phenomena, considered this case relevant due to the detailed description and the temporal correlation with another sighting. Although it was suggested that it could be a lantern release, the possibility of an unusual phenomenon was not ruled out. The Category A classification highlights the importance of this testimony for official research, emphasizing the need to continue analyzing similar observations to better understand unidentified aerial phenomena.
