🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On the early morning of June 26, 2010, eight people in Paris observed a bright orange ball moving silently at low altitude with a constant speed. Suddenly, the object made a sharp drop in both altitude and luminosity. Although several witnesses saw the phenomenon, only one filed a report with the GEIPAN. Due to the lack of independent testimonies and the low consistency of the case, no clear conclusion was reached. However, researchers considered the possibility of a flying lantern, though it could not be confirmed due to the lack of evidence.
