On June 30, 2010, a witness in Saint-Maur-des-Fossez noticed a large black spot stationary in the sky. Intrigued, they observed the object moving and then disappearing behind a cloud. Although the account was consistent and detailed, key information such as precise orientation or recordings was missing. The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN due to the lack of additional evidence. A month later, when the witness was contacted again, it was no longer possible to retrieve radar recordings, further limiting the investigation.
The "C" classification means the case cannot be resolved with certainty, but it is not dismissed either. Although no conventional explanations were found, the description of the object does not rule out an unusual aerial phenomenon. Cases like this, though inconclusive, are important for understanding perceptions and the limits of UFO research.
