Summary

On June 19, 2010, near a village party, a witness observed a red light varying in intensity and an object with white lights that were unrecognizable. The observation lasted between 5 and 10 minutes. The witness initially thought it might be one or more helicopters, but the lights remained static throughout and there was no noise, which didn’t fit that hypothesis. A captive balloon with lighting was also considered, especially given the fireworks display also observed. This could not be verified, however. Some balloons at altitude illuminated by the last rays of the sun, which had set more than an hour earlier, could have created a similar effect. Despite the average strangeness of the static nature and the unusual rhythm of the light pulses, and the good consistency thanks to a detailed description from the witness, the case cannot be firmly concluded due to a lack of further investigations. It was classified as C due to the absence of independent testimonies and cross-checks.
