On June 20, 2010, around midnight, three witnesses observed three reddish-orange glowing spheres in the sky. These moved silently toward the northwest at low altitude. Although it might initially seem unusual, the characteristics of the observation matched those of traditional Thai lanterns. In fact, one of the witnesses suggested this very explanation. Moreover, the wind direction—north-northwest—aligned with the described movement, further supporting this hypothesis. The GEIPAN classified the case as "A," indicating no unexplained elements after analysis.
