In July 2010, a witness in Rosny-sous-Bois observed for a few seconds a fast-moving rectangular object with an aluminum-like color in the sky. The report notes the absence of any sound during the sighting, which is unusual for typical aerial objects. Despite the area being highly populated, no other witnesses were found to corroborate the event. The testimony, while honest, lacks precise details such as the exact date and duration of the observation.
The brevity of the sighting and the lack of additional testimonies made a deeper investigation difficult. The GEIPAN classified the case as "C", indicating insufficient reliable information to consider it an unexplained phenomenon. Although intriguing, the case could not rule out possible explanations such as a temporary vision issue in the witness, like a brief glare.
