Camboulit 2010, silent glowing objects

Summary

On July 28, 2010, around 10:15 PM, several people in Camboulit (Lot) observed glowing objects shaped like hot air balloons. The event lasted five minutes and no sound was heard. Only one witness reported the observation. The gendarmerie investigated and concluded it was likely a sighting of Thai lanterns. Despite the calm nature of the event, the lack of sound and the unusual shape of the objects created some uncertainty.
