Summary

In August 2010, a witness and their family observed bright, silent objects in the sky, some stationary and others moving. The sighting occurred on two different nights. Although initially intriguing, the investigation concluded that several of the objects were known celestial bodies. One was likely Jupiter, another the International Space Station, and a third could have been the star Capella. The confusion was explained by common orientation errors in eyewitness accounts. The case does not present truly unusual elements but illustrates how lack of experience can lead to misinterpretations.
