On September 10, 2010, a witness in Saint-Jorioz observed a very bright object in the night sky for 40 minutes. The object was moving at high altitude and the witness interrupted the observation, although the phenomenon was still visible. The characteristics of the observation suggest a celestial body. In the sky, in the southeast direction, Jupiter was present, visible to the naked eye with a magnitude of -2.9. This case was classified as A, attributed to the observation of Jupiter.
