A witness recorded a luminous phenomenon slowly moving across the sky above Vailly-sur-Sauldre. At first, the slow movement appeared unusual, especially when compared to the background of trees. However, after analyzing the recordings, investigators concluded it was a simple misidentification with the planet Venus. The use of extreme zoom in the recording amplified the effect of Earth's rotation, creating the illusion of movement. Although the case showed some consistency, it did not present any truly unusual elements. It was classified as a case A due to its good observation quality, but without ufological value.
