🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On November 26, 2010, between 11:30 PM and midnight, two witnesses in Mirande (France) observed five to six bright orange-yellow points in the sky. These objects moved silently, making rapid and disordered curves around a fixed point. Suddenly, the points turned off, while the central point faded gradually. The witnesses noted the speed and precision of the movements, which caught the attention of the GEIPAN. Several hypotheses were considered, including Thai lanterns or fireworks, but these were ruled out due to the lack of local events and the unusual behavior of the lights. Natural causes were also dismissed due to the complexity of the movements. Ultimately, the case was classified as "C" due to insufficient information and the inability to contact additional witnesses.
