Summary

On December 30, 2010, a witness in Senneville-sur-Fécamp observed for 45 minutes a series of white ovoidal rings and bright points moving periodically in a mostly clear sky. The description of these phenomena reminded investigators of a "Skyrose" type multi-beam projector, which can create luminous patterns on clouds. However, the witness described a dark sky with few stars and some cloud cover, complicating the hypothesis of a ground-based projection. Additionally, meteorological data indicated fog and light rain in nearby areas, which might have obscured direct visibility of the light beams. Although a festive event was plausible around New Year's Eve, no additional witnesses or evidence were found.

The case was classified as C by the GEIPAN due to the lack of independent corroboration. While the description matched a Skyrose projector, the origin of the phenomena could not be confirmed. The date near New Year’s added a festive context that could have motivated such a projection, but no evidence of a club or event was found in the area. In summary, the case remains unresolved, with low strangeness and moderate consistency.
