Spherical UFO observed in New Caledonia

Summary

On January 9, 2011, two people in New Caledonia observed and recorded a bright, spherical object stationary above an airfield. The object made no noise, which intrigued the witnesses. Upon reviewing the footage, other objects were noticed that had not been observed directly at the time of filming. One of them was a bright metallic sphere, described as resembling a scientific balloon, though not from Meteo-France. Additionally, dark objects were seen rapidly crossing the camera's field of view. According to the report, these were likely flying insects about one meter away from the camera.
